A public park with winding pathways through shops, restaurants and hotels along the banks of the San Antonio River. The River Walk is free, but there are fees for some attractions such as the boat ride tours down the river and other attractions and events. If it's your first visit, you may want to take a 30-minute boat tour ($8.25 adult) from Rio San Antonio Cruise company. This will give you a good feel for the area and let's you see what shops and restaurants are available and then you can choose which area(s) you'd like to spend more time in.

Off I-37, Exit 141A Commerce Street, Downtown.
About a 20 min. drive from the Temple:
Head east on Stone Oak Pkwy toward Mesa Ranch
Turn right onto Evans Rd
Turn right onto US-281 S
Continue onto I-37 S/US-281 S
Take exit 141A for Commerce St toward Downtown
Keep right at the fork and merge onto E Commerce St
The River Walk is on the right
