The Jordan River Utah Temple is scheduled for renovation starting February 15, 2016. The renovation is scheduled to take a year and a half, so if you want to see this temple any time in the next two years, you should plan to visit quickly. As the Jordan River is one of the larger and busier temples, it will be interesting how the other temples in the area deal with the increase in attendance. I'm looking forward to seeing if they change the look of the temple - it was the first I ever attended, so the current look holds a special place in my heart. Though, judging from the improvements made to the Ogden Utah Temple, whatever they decide to do with it, it will be beautiful.
