When you live in a smaller town, and there isn't always something exciting to do, some things become larger than life. So it is with the Utah State Aggies basketball team. Though they don't usually reach the top tier of NCAA basketball, the Aggies are always good, and the Spectrum is always one of the toughest places for any team to play in.
The venue is not huge, as far as basketball arenas go, but is optimally designer for maximum spectator involvement. The racuous students seem to be right on top of the action, and if a team comes in unprepared for the onslaught of visual and aural stimuli, they may find themselves overmatched. The Utah State students make it their business to find creative ways to fluster the opposing team. And if you happen to be there when rivals BYU or Utah are in the building, and if the game happens to go into triple overtime....well, let's just say it's an experience your eardrums won't soon forget.
